Stillwater Woman Arrested for 5th OWI in Wisconsin
The driver was stopped in Baldwin for operating her vehicle left of center and for making a left hand turn from the wrong lane.
BALDWIN, WIS — Eleanor Anna Schmidt, 55, from Stillwater has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
On Friday, May 26, Schmidt was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, 5th offense. Schmidt was stopped in the Village of Baldwin for operating her vehicle left of center and for making a left hand turn from the wrong lane.
Subsequent field sobriety testing lead to her arrest. Schmidt submitted to an evidentiary test of her blood and was incarcerated in the St. Croix County Jail.
