Hudson High School Choral Department presents

Sing Nowell!

2016 Home for the Holidays

Sunday, December 11th 5:00pm & 7:30pm

Monday, December 12th 5:00pm & 7:30pm

HHS Choirs & The River City Symphony Orchestra

This concert features over 370 High School voices, an 80 voice children’s choir, handbell choir and the River City Symphony Orchestra. This year’s music will center around the main theme “Sing Nowell”. Musical selections include: The First Nowell, arranged by Mack Wilberg, Festival Gloria by Craig Courtney, Noel by Brad Holmes and a rousing arrangement of Hark the Herald Angels Sing by Dan Forrest.

Andrew Haase, HHS Director of Choral Activities and Artistic Director for the Home for the Holidays Concert is thrilled and excited to present this 11th annual concert. “The purpose of this concert is two-fold: to provide our students with a professional musical and educational experience, and to provide an extraordinary musical experience for our community.”

Performances of Sing Nowell! will take place on Sunday, December 11th at 5:00pm and 7:30pm and Monday, December 12th at 5:00pm & 7:30pm at the Hudson High School Performing Arts Auditorium.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, December 1st. Box office hours are M-F 3-7pm starting on December 1st and will remain open until all performances sell out. Typically, the Sunday performances sell out instantly to family members of choir students. The public is encouraged to attend one of our Monday performances.

Ticket Order Forms will NOT be filled until December 1st, after family tickets have been distributed.

Please note: Family Members of Singers/Musicians get first priority for tickets.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 students (age 6-18. ) All tickets are by reserved seating.
