With more than 400 people on hand, Trinity Lutheran Church and Academy dedicated its new expanded facility Sept. 22 during an outdoor service.
“Trinity has always been about being part of the community as well as helping add value to people’s lives,” Executive Pastor Todd Stocker said. “We see this expansion as another opportunity that God has given to us to serve our students and the community with excellence and leadership.”
The $1.3 million expansion and renovation added more than 12,000 square feet to the building including several classrooms for the academy, a new science lab / art room, new specialized learning room, additional bathrooms, and space for private music lessons.

The existing first floor was renovated to incorporate a new library / media center, a new school office and reconfigured pre-school to the early childhood wing. Trinity’s Youth Ministry will benefit from an updating and doubling of its dedicated space compared to the old youth room.
“Our enrollment has doubled over the last five years,” Principal Alison Johnson said. “Our expanded facility will help us meet the demand we’re seeing for Christian education here in the St. Croix River Valley.”
