Wisconsin Man Arrested for 5th OWI
An Eau Claire man has been arrested by the State Patrol on suspicion of his fifth drunk driving offense.

ST CROIX COUNTY, WI — An Eau Claire man has been arrested by the State Patrol on suspicion of his fifth drunk driving offense.
John Thomas Freagon, 63 years of age, from Eau Claire, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
On Tuesday, May 30, 2017 just before 7 p.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper stopped Freagon for not wearing his seatbelt.

A subsequent investigation including standardized field sobriety tests was conducted. Freagon was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant-5th offense. Freagon submitted to an evidentiary test and was incarcerated in the Eau Claire County Jail.
