Fourth of July Fireworks Return To Madison For 2021

A July 3 event will take place at Breese Stevens Field featuring food, drinks, music and a fireworks show.

MADISON, WI— Fireworks are returning to Madison for a Fourth of July celebration at Breese Stevens Field in 2021.

Sponsored by Festival Foods, Lights the Isthmus will be held on Saturday, July 3. The celebration will feature local bands, food, drinks and a fireworks display launched from the field and a nearby building.

This week, the grocery store chain announced it was teaming up with Big Top Events, which operates the Breese Stevens Field, for the Independence Day event. The celebration comes amid a pause on public fireworks shows last summer because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
