When Michigan Has The Ball:
Michigan's offense is averaging 27.9 points a game, which is down from last year's staggering 40.3 figure. The offense has allowed a Big-Ten worst 27 sacks. Michigan is currently on their third starting quarterback in 2017, handing the ball to redshirt freshman Brandon Peters.
Peters has passed for 329 yards and four touchdowns against no interceptions in the last two games. Michigan averages 207.8 yards on the ground . Karan Higdon has gained 854 yards this year.
When Wisconsin Has The Ball:
The Badgers are without their top two wide receivers coming into Michigan. Quintez Cephus and Jazz Peavy are out for Saturday's game. that leaves tight end Troy Fumagali, Danny Davis and A.J. Taylor as the primary receiving options.
Quarterback Alex Hornibrook has not been asked to shoulder the load for Wisconsin, and has surpassed 250 yards passing just once this season. Interceptions appear to haunt Hornibrook, who has tossed 12 picks in just 206 attempts.
Where Wisconsin really excels is on the ground. The Badgers feature running back Jonathan Taylor, who is third in college football with 1,525 rushing yards this season.
