Butler Wire Expanding, Adding Jobs
Butler Wire and Metal Products on Bobolink Drive will nearly double in size after a proposed expansion to the existing facility 28,000-square-foot facility.
Business keeps getting better for the folks at Butler Wire and Metal Products, and they are hoping to expand their Falls-based business by the end of the year.
owner John Kruschel has plans to nearly double the size of the existing facility on Bobolink Avenue. If all approvals are earned from the village, an 20,000-square-foot addition to the building would be constructed by the end of the year.
Butler Wire specializes in custom wire fabrication, welding, baskets, displays, machining and tooling for a variety of industries. Their full-time tool and die employee has over 40 years of experience.

“We’ve added jobs here over the past 6 months due to increased business, and with our expansion we plan to add more,” Kruschel said. “We’ve added some new accounts, and we felt this was a good opportunity to expand.”
Kruschel said they plan to add up to 10 more jobs at Butler Wire.

The 20,000-square-foot expansion would primarily function as a warehouse for their product. By freeing up space in their existing facility, they will have the opportunity to add additional machines as well.
“Business has been picking up in the past 6 months,” Kruschel said. “Our diversification of markets that we serve has really helped us the most.”
