Charges Dismissed Against Man Accused of Recording Teen Using the Bathroom
One count charge of possession of child pornography against a Butler man were dismissed Thursday.

Charges against a 44-year-old man who was accused of videotaping a teenage girl using the bathroom inside a Menomonee Falls home were dismissed.
One count charge of possession of child pornography against James L. Leissring was dismissed Thursday in Waukesha County Court.

In April 2010, the victim - who was 15 years old at the time - was at a Menomonee Falls home with a friend and relative watching a movie. She said she went to the bathroom a couple of times, and on the second occasion she found a camera on a book shelf in the bathroom.
The girls later turned it on and immediately saw a picture of Leissring setting up the camera, then saw the victim come in and use the bathroom.

The victim's mother gave the equipment to Leissring's father thinking he would handle the situation but she said the items went missing.
