Community Memorial's 'Wheeling for Healing' Ride Next Week

All routes begin and end at Community Memorial: a family-friendly, 4-mile route begins at 9 a.m., a 15-mile route for more ambitious riders begins at 8:15 a.m. and the more challenging 32-mile route begins at 7:30 a.m.

The annual Wheeling for Healing bike ride benefitting the Cancer Care Center at Community Memorial Hospital will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11.

In addition to raising money for the hospital’s expanded Cancer Care Center, Wheeling for Healing honors and celebrates the many cancer patients who have completed or are undergoing treatment. The post-ride celebration begins at 9:30 a.m. with brunch, entertainment, raffles, games, a drawing for prizes and more. Craig McKee from WISN TV will be this year’s ride marshal.
