Despite Wet Weather, Saturday's River Cleanup is Still On
Volunteers are still needed for the annual Menomonee River and park cleanup event.

Despite the soggy weather of late, the Menomonee River and Park Cleanup will still go on as planned Saturday.
However, due to the large amount of rain the past two weeks, the rivers are full and have a strong current. Organizers are cautioning participants to stay out of and away from all rivers and fast running water, and bring boots for wet conditions.
The event takes place at 8:15 a.m. on April 20. Volunteers will all meet at Rotary Park of of Fond du Lac Avenue in Menomonee Falls. The clean-up wraps up at noon. The Milwaukee Riverkeepers is sponsoring the event - as it does every year.
