People swarmed Appleton Avenue Wednesday for the Independence Day Parade in Menomonee Falls. 

Proud veterans smiled and waved, performers played their instruments and danced, and Gov. Scott Walker waved to the crowd donning a University of Wisconsin - Madison polo.
