Felony Charge Dropped in Business Theft Plea Deal
A Jackson woman took more than $26,000 from a Menomonee Falls company during her employment.

A woman charged with stealing almost $27,000 from UniPump in Menomonee Falls pleaded guilty last week to three misdemeanors, in return for having a felony charged dropped.
Jennifer M. Brawner of Jackson will be sentenced Oct. 30 on three misdemeanor counts of theft in a business setting of less than $2,500. What came off the table was a felony charge for theft of movable property of more than $1,000.
According to the criminal complaint, thefts took three different forms, starting with a $5,000 cash advance from when she was hired in 2009 that was never repaid.
