Forum for Menomonee Falls Village Board Candidates Announced

Local grassroots organization to hold "Get to Know Your Village Board Candidates".

Menomonee Falls Action Team announced a forum where all six candidates seeking one of three open trustee seats on the Menomonee Falls Village Board will speak.

Get to Know Your Village Board Candidates” will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Menomonee Falls Public Library.

The public can hear candidates discuss policy positions, as well as their background and qualifications. Menomonee Falls Chamber of Commerce previously held a forum.

“Voters deserve to be fully informed when they cast their ballots on April 7th,” said Chris Byrnes, Team Co-Lead. “There needs to be a conversation about the big issues affecting voters before they can take to the polls.”

    Daniel Shwind (challenger)
  2. Seat #2: Randall Van Alstyne (incumbent)
    Adam Sachs (challenger)
  3. Seat #3: Tim Newman (incumbent)
    Stephanie Kosmeder (challenger)

The group's website says Menomonee Falls Action Team is a grassroots organization committed to bringing positive change to the community through direct voter contact and relationship building. It participates in community events like the annual cleanup of the village’s parks and rivers and has held other forums and town halls.
