Fund Set up for Family of 47-Year-Old Man Who Died Unexpectedly

GERMANTOWN, WI — Ava Cole and Maddie Perlewitz are close friends of the Powell family of Germantown.

When Dr. Gilbert G. "Guy" Powell died unexpectedly on Jan. 19 at age 47, the two friends wanted to reach out a helping hand for the family.

They set up a Go Fund Me campaign to help cover some of the family's expenses during this trying time.

The Mueller Funeral Home Obituary states that Powell is survived by wife Aimee (Nee Ziebell). Loving and Proud father of Claire, Chloe, Catherine and Cassidy. Loving son of Judith (Nee Soderman) and the late Richard Powell. Loving son-in-law of Linda Ziebell (Dennis Beder). Dear brother of Harold (Mary) Powell, Kathleen Staat and Curtis (Kimberly) Powell. Dear brother-in-law of Melissa (Tim) Dobberphul. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by father-in-law Glenn Ziebell.
