Menomonee Falls Woman Charged In School Abuse Case

Lynn D. Luisier is set to make her initial appearance in court on the felony charge on Aug. 22.

KENOSHA, WI — A 56-year-old Menomonee Falls woman has been charged with physical abuse of a child after an incident with her former employer, the Kenosha Unified School District.

According to the Kenosha News, Lynn D. Luisier is set to make her initial appearance in court on the felony charge on Aug. 22.

According to her criminal complaint, in March, another school employee witness Luisier "roughly handling" a 5-year-old girl in the hallway at Pleasant Prairie Elementary School.

Her complaint stated that the employee saw Luisier - who was a kindergarten teacher - grab a student by the arm, yank her, and give the student a small shake.

According to police, the incident was reported to the principal and the student's mother was notified. According to the criminal complaint, the family has also brought up other "aggressive conduct" by Luisier toward the girl.
