Newcastle Place to sponsor Fan Appreciation Night at Lakeshore Chinooks game

Newcastle Place residents to throw out first pitch, sing national anthem

Mequon, Wis. – Newcastle Place, a full-service senior living community in Mequon, will sponsor Fan Appreciation Night at the Lakeshore Chinooks baseball game on Monday, August 4, when the Chinooks play the Wisconsin Woodchucks at 6:35 p.m.

“Newcastle Place residents and staff are excited to come and enjoy a night out with members of the local community, all while supporting a local Mequon team,” said Elizabeth Ann Fetner, interim executive director of Newcastle Place.

Throughout the game, fans in attendance will have the opportunity to receive giveaways. Newcastle Place resident Tom “T.B.” Wilson, a 94-year-old World War II veteran, will throw out the first pitch. Newcastle Place residents and staff members will perform the national anthem.

“The Chinooks are so thankful for our fans,” said Eric Snodgrass, manager of sales and promotions of the Lakeshore Chinooks. “We are excited to partner with our neighbors at Newcastle Place to show our mutual appreciation for the Mequon community.”
