Edward proudly served in the US Army and is a member of the American Legion Post #382 in Menomonee Falls. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man.

Edward A. Jakubowski was born to Eternal Life on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of Genevieve “Jean” (nee Draczka) for 66 years. Dear brother of Collette Jakubowski-Chess. Loving father of Dennis (Marcia), James, Robert (Julie), Thomas (Lisa) and Jeanine (Greg) Godina. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Grant, Bradley, Keri, Jessie (Kinga), Jaime (John) Yaeger, Joseph (Brynn), Andrew (Kristin), Gregory and Michelle. Further survived by 5 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation at 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 16 at the Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home. A Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. at , N88W17658 Christman Rd. Please meet at the church. Procession to cemetery to immediately follow the mass.
