Joseph “Joe” Mingari took his final ride on Wed., Sept. 19, 2012 at the age of 71 years. Cherished husband of Judy (nee Gettelman) for 49 years. Beloved father of Jane (Rich) Ward, Joseph Jr. (Susan), and Jean (Paul) Davis. Loving grandfather of Angela, Aedan and step-grandson Kyle. Dear brother of William, Theodore, and Elizabeth. Further survived by brothers and sisters-in law, other relatives, and many friends.
Joe was a graduate of Custer High School in 1959. He was in the automotive business for over 40 years and then enjoyed his retirement helping his son and associates at KLH Industries. He was an active member of St. Giuseppe Society, ICC, Daniel Boone Conservation League, and both the Snobirds and Kettle Moraine snowmobiling clubs. He had a passion for outdoor motor sports, snowmobiling, riding his Harley, trapshooting, and traveling. Joe also taught ATV/Snowmobile safety classes.

Visitation from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home from. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Sat., Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Parish, 1200 St. Gabriel Way, Hubertus. Please meet at the church. Procession to St. Mary’s Cemetery in Menomonee Falls to immediately follow Mass. The family thanks VNA Hospice Care for their kind and compassionate care of Joe. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the grandchildren’s college fund are appreciated.
