Shirley Kapus (nee Waters) found peace on Feb. 10, 2013 at the age of 91. Preceded in death by her husband James. Loving mother of James (Sharon), Linda Barborich (Mike) and Nancy (Steve) Dodder. Proud grandmother of Daniel (fiancé Angela), Douglas (Annie), Charlotte (Lenny), Anthony (Nora), Nicholas (Bobbi), Tom, Amy (Randy) Stephanie and Serena. Sister of the late Robert (Phyllis) Waters. Further survived by great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday Feb. 16, 2013 at St. Francis Episcopal Church, N84W16525 Menomonee Ave. A service will follow at 1 p.m. Private burial Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Shirley worked as a teacher’s aide at the Children’s Community Center for many years. She was an avid Sheepshead player and loved to golf. The family would like to thank her caregiver and friend Gwen Wendland, Dr. Julie Hyerman, Dr. Federico Sanchez and the staff in the Oncology Department at Aurora Health Care Center in Menomonee Falls for their compassionate care over the years. Memorials the Children’s Community Center or to St. Francis Episcopal Church would be greatly appreciated.
