Old National Bank To Donate $45,000 To Local Nonprofits

Old National Bank is holding votes at its 45 Wisconsin locations. Each branch will donate $1,000 to a local nonprofit voted by the public.

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI -- The Old National Bank on Appleton Ave. is one of 45 in Wisconsin which will donate $1,000 in a community charity giveaway. Each branch is holding voting between April 3rd and May 12th. Only nonprofits which are 501 (c)(3) tax exempt are eligible. Voters do not need to be members or account holders.

Josh Cole, the branch manager of the Appleton Ave. branch, said that a week into voting, there are five or six nonprofits in the running. "We don't choose them, the community does," he said. The event has been dubbed the "Choose Your Charity Giveaway."

“The Choose Your Charity Giveaway provides a mechanism to support many local organizations within the Greater Wisconsin community and is just one way we put our values into action,” said Len Devaisher, Wisconsin region CEO, in an interview with BizTimes.
