Rotary Club Announces 2012 Scholarship Recipeints

The Rotary Club has annouced its 2012 scholarship recipients, which were awarded to well-deserving high school seniors.

The Menomonee Falls Rotary Club supports and recognizes the youth in Menomonee Falls through various programs including scholarships, Student of the Month recognition, career education and development programs, etc.

The Rotary Club has annouced its 2012 scholarship recipients, which were awarded to well-deserving high school seniors. The recipients are:     

Menomonee Falls Halls School

  • Jessica Zychowski - $1000
  • Alexander Ryzek - $500
  • Asia Meredeth - $500

Sussex Hamilton High School

  • Ashley Lehnan - $1000
  • Shanon Desorcey - $500
  • Kristin Jerde - $500

Rotary also hosts a World Affairs Seminar (WAS) held annually at Carroll University in Waukesha. This year’s seminar is June 16-22, and gives students an opportunity to explore the impact of Technology on Global Understanding.  Past participants say the WAS experience was life changing.

The following students received a full scholarship from the MF Rotary Club:

  • Josh Mueller – Sussex Hamilton
  • Anya Race – Sussex Hamilton
  • Jessica Klappa – Menomonee Falls
  • Jessica Zuminski – Menomonee Falls

Students will present their program at the Rotary Club Meeting on July 11. Rotary is extremely proud of all local students, congratulates them and wishes them all well in the future.
