Syrian Refugee Family Struggling to Call Menomonee Falls Home
A new report documents their struggles, and how people in the community - especially in the faith community - have stepped up to help.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- According to the Department of Children and Families, 118 Syrian refugees were resettled in Wisconsin since 2015.
One family of six that has settled in Menomonee Falls, is struggling to call the village home after encountering a litany of surprises, including being denied housing, learning they owed the federal government a large sum of money and struggling to find employement.
According to a report by North Shore Now, the Alaboud Alissa family of six stayed with a host family over the last few months, but struggled to find an apartment of their own.
