Thief Nabs Charity Jar at Witlin's
A truck was also stolen from a Falls company and later found abandoned in Milwaukee in this week's round of reports from the Menomonee Falls Police Department.

A donation jar that was meant to raise funds for the needy landed in the hands of the greedy recently at Wittlin's Service.
Max Wittlin contacted police on May 27 after the theft occurred that afternoon. Apparently, a 17- to 22-year-old male entered the gas station and stole a pack of Trident gum, a lighter, and a Menomonee Falls Area Food Pantry donation jar. Wittlin said he wasn't sure how much money was in the jar.
However, Wittlin did see the suspect leave with three other males in a Ford Freestar. The suspect was also caught on video stealing the items.
Police later contacted the owner of the vehicle, who said he purchased the Freestar for his mother. When police contacted her, she said her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend took the keys to the car on the day of the incident. She told police she would continue to assist with the investigation.
Truck Stolen from Super X
Two suspects stole, and later ditched, a truck in broad daylight in Menomonee Falls. At roughly 10:30 a.m. May 2, two suspects smashed a window on a black and red Chevrolet K1500, peeled back the steering column, and drove it off the lot. The theft occurred at Super X on Bobolink Avenue, and security cameras there caught the auto theft on camera.
The vehicle was later found abandoned on N. 40th Street in Milwaukee with a American Landscape trailer, which was also stolen, attached to it.
The thieves also attempted to steal another truck at the same location. They cut the padlock to a side entry door of an enclosed trailer, disconnected the transmission linkage on a GMC pickup truck, unhooked the hitch pin, and attempted to roll the truck away from the trailer.
However, the truck within the storage yard wasn't stolen.
