Two Suspects Arrested After Police Pursuit, Car Involved in Strong-Armed Robbery

The officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver fled and the officers began a pursuit.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Police arrested the occupants of a vehicle in Menomonee Falls after they learned it was the same vehicle used in a strong-armed robbery earlier Sunday.

Milwaukee Police arrested the two suspects, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man, and a 20-year-old Milwaukee woman, after they led officers on a pursuit on the City’s Northwest Side and into Waukesha County.

Milwaukee Police Officers were on patrol in the area of N. 60th Street and W. Capitol Drive around 11:45 p.m. on July 17 when they saw a black Nissan Sentra that was used to commit a strong armed robbery earlier in the evening in the 700 block of E. Ogden Avenue.

The officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the Sentra fled and the officers began a pursuit. The pursuit came to an end in Menomonee Falls and two suspects, a 20-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 20-year-old Milwaukee man, were taken into custody.

MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
