1 Of Every 4 Hospital Beds Available In Southeast Wisconsin

According to the latest information from the Wisconsin Department of Health services, three out of every four hospital beds are filled.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The Wisconsin Department of Health Services Sunday confirmed 307 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the state's total number of cases to 15,584.

The department also reported four new deaths over the last 24 hours, bringing the running total to 514 deaths from the virus.

According to the latest information from the Wisconsin Department of Health services, three out of every four hospital beds are currently in use.

That data is based on hospital availability in Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Washington, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties. According to the official data, there are 4,407 beds available in those counties, with 1,085 available.

As the positive test percentage for COVID-19 decreases, the state has reopened its public parks for Memorial Day weekend, with some restrictions.

Nearly all Wisconsin state parks returned to regular operating hours of 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week starting Saturday, though it will take longer for campsites to open back up, state officials said Friday.
