15-Year-Old Boy Arrested After Shooting Himself In Abdomen

RACINE - A 15-year-old Racine boy was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm after he accidentally shot himself in the abdomen during an altercation on March 24.

The boy was being driven to the hospital by his cousin when his cousin's car was pulled over. According to a Racine County Eye story, a witness originally told police he was shot by an unknown assailant but later admitted that the boy had shot himself.

The incident occurred when the boy and other got into an altercation at a nearby apartment. The boy went to get a gun and accidentally shot himself.
