The Twilight Jazz Summer Concert series returns for its 18th year at the Anderson Arts Center. Five jazz and blues shows will take place from June 29 to August 24. All the shows are free.
The series features regional and local jazz bands on Tuesday nights on the Lake Michigan shoreline. The grounds open one hour before each show starts. Concertgoers can bring their own blankets and lawn chairs for first come first served seating. Food will be available for purchase from local vendors who will be on site or families can bring their own from home. A full bar will be available in the Starlight Lounge on the Anderson Arts Center back patio. No carry-ins of alcohol are allowed.

Ending the series on August 24 will be a special show by Kenosha County called Blues and Twilight Jazz: The Kenosha County Suffrage Celebration. This show celebrates last year’s 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote. On that evening, two musical acts will play, Elaine Dame and Ivy Ford, local vendors will have information booths, and there will be diverse food options.
The Twilight Jazz Summer Concert Series is generously sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway, Crawford and Wright Orthodontics, Dooley and Associates, First American Bank, FPS Finishing and Plating Service, InSite Consulting Architects, JDR Painting, Jockey, Kenosha.com, Knight Barry Title Group, Lake County Press, Palmen Motors, Prophet Wealth Management, Snap-on Inc., Spectrum Wealth Advisors, Tithof Tile & Marble, and the University of Wisconsin Parkside.
For 17 years, the Twilight Jazz Summer Concert Series has established itself as one of Kenosha’s signature events, drawing crowds from throughout southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Funds raised during the concert series support and sustain the Anderson Arts Center and the Kemper Center and help to promote the arts and art education in the community.
