2017 Tobacco Retailer Compliance Checks

2017 tobacco retailer compliance retailer compliance checks conducted in the Villages of Sturtevant and Mount Pleasant

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jacqueline Sieracki and I am the Coordinator for the Kenosha, Racine and Walworth Counties (KRW) Tobacco-Free Coalition. We also facilitate the local Wisconsin Wins (WI Wins) program for our three counties. The WI Wins program utilizes a state-wide, strategic approach to decrease youth access to tobacco products and prevent youth nicotine addiction. These goals are achieved through community partnerships with local law enforcement agencies and businesses, by providing retailer training and conducting compliance checks.

I would like to share with our community that our tobacco retailer compliance checks were conducted on December 14 and 21, 2017 in the Village of Mount Pleasant and Village of Sturtevant. We congratulate the employees of the following tobacco retailer who asked for and checked the i.d. of our youth volunteer and denied the tobacco sales.
