2019 Franksville Food Truck Festival: Your Guide; Trucks List

RACINE, WI — The Franksville Food Truck Fest returns this weekend following a successful 2018.

This year’s festival will once again take place at the Franksville Craft Beer Garden.

“We’ve done a lot to elevate the experience on every level," Ken Michel, co-owner of the Franksville Craft Beer Garden said in a statement to Patch. “There are more food trucks of course, but we’ve also added additional stations for craft beer and a spot for wine and White Claw."

The festival area has also been improved, including closing the main street in the park to accommodate the crowd and make the event more enjoyable and safer for the community.

The Festival kicks off on Friday, Sept. 6, at 4 p.m., with about 20 food trucks.

Phil Norby will be playing on the Real Racine Live Music Stage in the beer garden at 6 p.m. Friday. The beer garden will also be showing the Badger game at 2:30 p.m.

The fun continues on Saturday with an early kick-off for foodies at 11 a.m. Several of the food trucks plan to offer brunch items, and the beer garden will be hosting a bloody mary fixin’s bar to go with their Tipsy Tomato Bloody Marys.

The food truck extravaganza continues throughout the day and evening, with award-winning 8-piece band Failure to Launch on stage starting at 6 p.m. Their high-energy show includes hits from many decades of rock, hip-hop and country genres.

Each day of the festival includes bounce houses and playgrounds for the kids, yard games for adults, and more than 20 craft beer options to enjoy, including several special tappings.

The Festival is free to attend.
