Update: Power Restored to All Customers After Saturday Outage
By 11:35 a.m. Sunday, WE Energies reported that the last group of customers was back on line after an outage Saturday left over 2,200 residents without power, some for well over 12 hours.

The last group of customers without power finally got to turn the lights - and the heat - back on around 11:30 Sunday morning.
WE Energies spokesperson Brian Manthey confirmed in an email to Patch that the final 24 homes had their power restored after crews had to work to repair some fuses that were damaged.

"Everyone is back in service. The last two were restored a few minutes ago," he said in a message time stamped at 11:38 a.m.

Manthey told Patch that all customers in the effected areas had their power restored by 5 a.m. Sunday. Crews checking for damaged meters wrapped up at 4 a.m.
Then, 77 customers lost power again because of damaged fuses, but some of those homes have since had their power restored.
"Some of our lines fuses were found to have been damaged as well and so a part of that line did not hold," Manthey said in his email.
Outages were located in three primary locations: on Highway 31 at MM; and in the subdivision north of Northwestern and Neumann; and in the neighborhood north of Armstrong Park off of Highway 31.
Crews worked to repair the damaged fuses to get power restored to these remaining homes.
