July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

This year, most of the area’s festivities will take place on July 5 instead of July 4.

July 4 Festivities To Be Held On July 5

What: Fireworks, a parade, festivities and a parade of planes.
Where: The parade of planes will take place before the fireworks at North Beach in Racine. The parade starts at the corner of Goold Street and Main Street on Racine’s north side. It will run down Main Street until the Racine Zoological Gardens.
When: Fireworks are at dusk on July 5. The parade starts at 8:30 a.m. on July 5. The parade of planes will take place before the fireworks show at 6 p.m. on July 5.
The majority of July 4th activities around Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant, mainly the activities in Racine, are actually on July 5 this year.
The parade of planes will take place before the fireworks show at North Beach in Racine. It is a display by the local EAA Chapter 388.
The parade will start around 8:30 a.m. with the bulk of the noisy vehicles: police, fire, rescue, tractors and more will kick off the parade at the corner of Goold Street and Main Street, according to the Racine 4th Fest organization website.
The parade will run down Main Street.
