7 Mile Road Interchange to Close Long-Term
Getting around in northern Racine County? Here's a road closure and construction work that you'll need to take note of:

RACINE COUNTY, WI — Motorists who are out and about amid the coronavirus public health emergency will have one more obstacle to contend with starting this weekend.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is underway with reconstructing the I-94 North-South Freeway. The following work is scheduled for the next phase of this project.
The following closures are scheduled to begin overnight Sunday, April 5:

- Seven Mile Road, between the frontage roads, is scheduled to close for about one month as crews work to reconstruct the roadway.
- The I-94 entrance and exit ramps at Seven Mile Road are scheduled to close for about one month as crews work to reconstruct the ramp connections to and from Seven Mile Road.
Detour
Motorists are encouraged to use the County G interchange and the frontage roads to get around the Seven Mile Road interchange closure, transportation official said this week.
