Model Casting Call for American Girl Fashion Show to Benefit Therapeutic Riding Program

Calling all girls! Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program (MTRP) will bring the American Girl Fashion Show® Model Call to Racine and Kenosha this June. Girls ages six to 13 are invited to audition for the show, which will feature historical and contemporary fashions from the American Girl line.
Open Model Calls will be held on:
- Saturday, June 2 at Midwest Embroidery at 3211 Washington Ave., Racine from 9am-noon.
- Friday, June 8 at Midwest Embroidery at 3211 Washington Ave., Racine from 5-8pm.
- Saturday, June 9 at the Birchwood Grill at 7515 125th Ave., Kenosha from 9am-noon.
Interested girls and their parents may come to a session anytime between the scheduled hours.
The American Girl Fashion Show committee is looking for a diverse group of models who wear size 6x or 10. Models will participate in fundraising for the event. Applications are available online at www.AmericanGirlFashionShowWi.org.
MTRP is looking for 80 to 120 girls to be in the show. Models will be picked based on their whether they fit in sizes 6x and 10. Size 6X girls will sport the Little Girl line while size 10 girls will wear American Girl historical and contemporary clothing.
The American Girl Fashion Show to benefit Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program will be held on October 20 and 21 at Meadowbrook Country Club, 2149 N. Green Bay Road, Racine, and includes a runway show, party favors, a raffle, shopping and a doll hair salon. Tickets for each of the four shows are $30 per person, $25 before October 1.

Proceeds from the show will benefit Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program, a non-profit organization that offers hippotherapy and therapeutic horseback riding to children with physical, emotional and/or cognitive disabilities.
