Mount Pleasant Has Two Committee Openings

Mount Pleasant Village President Carolyn Milkie is looking for a few village residents who want to get more involved in their community through committee appointments.

Now that the April 3 election is over, Milkie will be reorganizing trustee appointments on committees and commissions, but she also needs residents who want to give their time and talents to the village.

Specifically, there is an opening on each of the Parks and Recreation and the Sewer/Water Commission.

"There's no experience necessary but people usually gravitate toward the committee where they have the most personal or professional experience," she said. "Anyone who is interested in giving back to the community is welcome to apply."

Applications can be found at the village's website, www.mtpleasantwi.gov. Visitors can scroll to the bottom and click the "I Want To ..." tab and then "Volunteer" or by clicking here.
