NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Assessment Rolls will be open for inspection at the Mount Pleasant Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant, WI  53406 beginning July 16, 2012.  Please call 262.664.7800 for an appointment with the Assessor’s office.

UPDATED BOARD OF REVIEW NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 70.47 the Board of Review will convene on Tuesday, August 20, 2012 at 8:30 am at the Mount Pleasant Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant, WI  53406.  Property owners wishing to file an objection to their assessment and appear before the Board of Review should do so with the Village Clerk/Treasurer no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, August 17, 2012.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, objections shall be in writing on a form approved by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and may be obtained from the Village Clerk’s office at 8811 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant, WI  53406.  The form is also available on the Village website.  If the Board is in session longer than five days, all objections must be filed by the fifth day.  However, the Board may conclude its business in less than five days.  It will then adjourn permanently and no objections can be heard thereafter.

After such written objections are filed with the Village Clerk/Treasurer, the objector will be given a hearing time.  It is necessary that the objector or representative appear before the Board at the time of hearing and present evidence, under oath, to support such objection.
