Why does it matter?
According to the 2017 Racine City Community Health Survey, the number one health issue respondents reported, was access to care. For those living without insurance or who have high deductibles they can’t afford, that can mean some people are living without vital health tests and screenings.
The Medical Mission at Home is part of Ascension’s commitment to reach individuals who are uninsured, under-insured and need access to healthcare services – not just for one day, but for the long term.
Ascension’s Medical Mission at Home connects those who struggle with access to follow-up care and other resources to help them stay healthy and manage their medical conditions, so they can live their best lives.
