Ascension Wisconsin Names New Chief Operating Officer
Monica Hilt, Regional President, Ascension Wisconsin Fox Valley and Stevens Point Hospitals, has been named COO of Ascension Wisconsin.

Milwaukee, Wis. - Monica Hilt, Regional President, Ascension Wisconsin Fox Valley and Stevens Point Hospitals, has been named Chief Operating Officer of Ascension Wisconsin, effective September 6, 2020. In this new role, Hilt will lead the continued development of Ascension Wisconsin’s strategic operating plan, with a focus on performance outcomes in quality, experience and overall operating results.

Hilt began her career with Ascension Wisconsin, then known as Ministry Health Care, almost 30 years ago. Her leadership has been focused on performance improvement in patient quality and safety, experience, operating results and strategic growth. Prior to becoming the Regional President of Ascension Wisconsin Fox Valley and Stevens Point Hospitals, Hilt held roles as President of Howard Young Medical Center, part of Ascension, Ascension St. Mary’s, Ascension Sacred Heart and Ascension Eagle River Hospitals.

Hilt earned a bachelor’s degree in health information administration from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and a master’s degree of healthcare administration from Ohio University. She is currently a board member of the Wisconsin Hospital Association, the United Way of the Fox Cities, Community First Credit Union, the Mosaic Family Health Clinic and Family Medicine Residency Program and Catalpa Behavioral Health Collaborative.
