KENOSHA, WI — As President Donald Trump visited Kenosha Tuesday to survey damage and host a law enforcement roundtable in the wake of the Jacob Blake police shooting and a week's worth of protests, one political group decided against coming to Kenosha, citing safety concerns.

Jack Dunn, National Coordinator for Bikers for Trump, told Wisconsin Patch that Bikers for Trump, a political group run by bikers, had discussions to have more than 200 bikers there Tuesday before making a decision to avoid Kenosha for the time being.

"Tensions are still very high in Kenosha, and we do not want our presence for President Trump's visit to add to those tensions, or burden Law Enforcement resources by our added presence. Safety is always first and foremost for our President, and our members," organizers said in a notice to its members.
