American Horror Story: Is Constance the Key?
American Horror Story gets more twisted. And it's awesome.
Back in 1994, we learn about Beau, one of Connie's sons, who lived (was chained) in the attic and was horribly deformed and developmentally disabled. She's in the library talking to Larry Half-face (before he got burned up) about doing something to prevent Beau from going to an institution and Connie being charged with child neglect. So of course, Larry goes to the attic to murder Beau.
Back to the present and Tate is making Violet promise not to cut herself any more while someone comes to tour the house. Being known as the Murder House only makes the guy want it more. That, and, of course, that Moira gives one heck of a blow job. In Violet's bedroom. Ew.
But Larry Half-face also wants the house, and we learn that he lied about murdering his family. Ben, of course, thinks he's also lying about killing Hayden (oh, Ben, if you only knew). Turns out, in 1994, Larry was having an affair with Constance, told his wife and it was his wife who killed the children and set the room on fire. Larry was in a burn unit for two years and then in an institution.

So to learn more about the house, Viv and Marcy (the real estate agent) go on the Murder House tour. We find out that Dr. Montgomery's Frankenstein experiment in 1929 on the murdered and dismembered baby really worked, but instead of nursing, it wanted to bite and claw its mother. Mrs. Montgomery shoots hubby in the head before putting the gun in her mouth and doing the same thing to herself.
"We won't put that in the real estate listing," the agent tells Viv.

Why is Violet in the attic? She find Beau's red ball and gets scared by his ghost. She runs into Tate who explains that the ghosts of those who have died there are appearing to her because she's evolved enough to handle it. They start rummaging through an old box of photos. Maria, from the first episode, appears, but Violet follows Tate's direction, "Go away!" and is suprised when it works.
Constance goes to see the Armenian interested in buying the Murder House to try and convince him to not tear down the house. I fear Crazy Connie is going to kill him, but she just makes some ominous statements about building on top of him, too.
Tate's session with Ben is coming to an end and Ben confides that he's worried for Violet. He asks Tate to come to him immediately if Violet is ever in trouble. Ben, Ben, Ben.
Constance comes over to see her sons and learns that Tate's therapy has revealed to him that he hates his mother. She and Moira hatch a scheme to stop the Armenian from buying and tearing down the house, which, of course, includes murdering him via Larry suffocating the guy with a plastic bag after Moira has worked more of her oral magic. They have to be sure, though, the victim doesn't expire on the property.
"I don't want to run into his carcass anytime soon," Constance says.
The reason Constance wants him dead? He plans to tear down the house and put up rental units. Crazy Connie knows she'll never see her family again if that happens. Moira happily participates because she knows there will never be a chance to move on if the house comes down and her bones really do remain buried forever.
Violet and Viv have a talk about falling in love. Oh, and we find out that Viv is having twins. TWINS! This can't be good.
