Caledonia Mom Dies in Spa Shooting and a Plane Ends Up on I-94

The week of Oct. 21 - 27, 2012 was a mixed bag of tragedy, crime, community and a ray of sunshine in the form of a little girl who had a dream come true.

The story of how little Hailey Roser's dream of meeting pop star Justin Bieber almost didn't happen because of the Brookfield spa shooting registered with readers. Roser's dream did come true, though, once it was determined that the patients at Children's Hospital were not in danger and she was released for just long enough to meet Bieber while he was in Milwaukee to go a concert.
