RACINE COUNTY, WI — Wisconsin health officials say they're investigating coronavirus outbreaks at two different Racine County long-term care facilities.

Overall, health officials say 38 long-term care and skilled nursing facilities are currently undergoing facility-wide public health investigations across the state after at least one resident or staff member tested positive for the new coronavirus.

DHS said one positive case of COVID-19 detected among residents or staff members in a nursing home automatically triggers a facility-wide public health investigation.
