Crash Shuts Down I-94 At Racine-Milwaukee County Line
The shutdown is estimated to last for several hours, authorities said.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — If your Friday night travel plans include heading down I-94 in the Racine County area, the Racine County Sheriff’s Office is alerting the public that the northbound lanes of the interstate are shut down at 7 Mile Road due to a traffic incident in Milwaukee County.
According to the Wisconsin Department of transportation, back ups are greater than 3 miles in length.
All northbound traffic at that location is be diverted off the interstate onto 7 Mile Road.

The shutdown is estimated to last for several hours, authorities said.
The crash happened in a work zone that has narrowed lanes, and close concrete barrier walls on either side without a safety shoulder.

Alternate routes for traffic east of I-94 is Highway 38, and west of I-94 being US Highway 45.
