9/11 Service of Remembrance

The Racine Scouts and Bugle Corps will present a Service of Remembrance to honor and mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11 as well as those who serve their country through public service.

American flags will line the plaza at Mount Pleasant Village Hall purchased by residents in honor of their own loved ones in public service. Funds raised will go toward a scholarship fund for students pursuing a career in public service.

A short service with speakers will begin at 2 pm.

As we approach the solemn anniversary of the event that changed history, we hope that area citizens will join with us as we remember those who gave their lives on that tragic day, as well as those who continue to serve and protect us.
