Blue Star Mothers is a support, social and service group for mothers of active and retired military.
Not only do they support each other during their children's deployment, they also participate in service projects throughout the community like helping helping lay and dedicate wreaths for fallen service members on Memorial Day and putting together care packages for deployed personnel.
The Blue Star Mothers of Southeastern Wisconsin, Chapter 2, meets at 6 pm the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Sturtevant Village Hall, 2801 89th Street.
