Focus on Community Wants You to Walk/Run for Substance Abuse Prevention

Walk or run for substance abuse prevention with Focus on Community!

Did you know that by 12th grade 43 percent of Racine County youth report drinking alcohol in the past 30 days, and 36% report riding with a driver who has been drinking?

Come help “stomp” out substance abuse with Focus on Community, a local non-profit working to educate youth and adults on the dangers of substance abuse in Racine County.

Focus on Community is hosting its first ever run/walk fundraiser on September 24th, at the North Beach Oasis, registration begins at 7am and the run/walk begins at 9 am. 

This is a family oriented event, so there will be a lot of activities for the youth, including an eye spy scavenger hunt and a fun run. Funds raised from this event will go towards supporting several of Focus’ programs

Cost:

$20 early registration, $25 day of, includes t-shirt.
$10 for kids 7 - 13, under 7 is free.
Families of 4 or more get $10 off total entry

Discounts are available for teams of 25 or more, call for more info.
