
The City of Waukesha has some water issues and they want to use Lake Michigan to solve the problem.
City officials want to buy water from Oak Creek, Milwaukee or Racine. Now the Waukesha's application is complete, the state Department of Natural Resources is holding public hearings to find out what residents think.
Hearings have already taken place in Pewaukee and Wauwatosa so now it's Sturtevant's turn.

Residents are invited to the DNR Service Center, 9531 Rayne Road. Materials are available starting at 5:30 pm, and the hearing begins at 6 pm with a question-and-answer session.
