'Fill the Boot' and Dunk the Fire Chief for MDA
South Shore Fire will be at Emmertsen and Highway 20 Saturday to collect money for the Muscular Dystophy Association. There will also be a dunk tank featuring Chief William Bouma.

South Shore Firefighters will be out Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for their annual "Fill the Boot" fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
But it you're looking for something a little more interactive, Chief William Bouma will be the main attraction in a dunk tank! Other firefighters will also take a turn, and there's going to a be fire trucks and rescue units there, too.

On Saturday, September 1st, 2012 Local 2939 and the South Shore Fire Department will be holding this years annual MDA collection on the corner of Hwy 20 & Emmertsen from 9am-5pm. Stop by and dunk the Fire Chief and other Firefighters in the dunk tank, check out our Public Education Exhibit. Fire apparatus will be on display for the public to see.
