Franksville Man Died While Delivering Newspapers: Sheriff

RACINE COUNTY, WI — A 59-year-old Franksville man has died after authorities say the SUV he was driving veered off the road and crashed into a tree.

According to the Racine County Sheriff's office, the man was driving along the 1200 block of 60th Street in Raymond just after 5 a.m. on Sep. 12 as he was delivering newspapers when his SUV crossed the center line, veered off the road and struck a tree.

Officials said the driver's speed was a factor in the crash. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, authorities said.
