Fundraiser To Help Caledonia Family Who Lost Home In Fire
The neighbor of a Caledonia family of three wants to help out after they lost most of their belongings - and their home - in a Tuesday fire.

CALEDONIA, WI — A neighbor in Caledonia's Crestview neighborhood is asking for the public's help after a family's home down the block became engulfed in flames earlier this week.
Caledonia firefighters responded to the home of Scott and Liz Hopper on the 2700 block of Red Maple Ct. at just before 4 a.m. on Tuesday on a report of a fire.
Although the fire was under control within about 30 minutes, fire officials say the fire caused major damage to the home and attached garage.

"Help me with getting the Hopper family back on their feet. Scott, Liz, and their little man, Blake, are one of the most caring and passionate families you will ever meet. They lost all of their belongings in a house fire that we all woke up to a nightmare too," neighbor Kristen Derby wrote. "The fire was fully engulfed and thankfully everyone made it out safely. They would be one of the first families to help out a family in need so let’s help them start living their life normally again."
Derby says she's trying to raise a total of $5,000 to help the family.
