GREENDALE, WI — Goodwill Industries is the latest Wisconsin company to grapple with workforce reductions amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a Milwaukee Business Journal report, the Greendale-based retailer with about 90 locations, will furlough employees and also enact pay cuts. According to the report, the actions will affect about 3,000 employees.
“As we move out of the Covid-19 emergency, we look forward to continuing to serve our community, through our retail locations as well as providing training, employment and supportive services for people with disabilities or disadvantages,” Goodwill communications manager Jess Owens said in the report.
